Many people looking for a dentist also need a doctor, and this group lists the medical clinics, family physicians, urgent care and walk-in centers, hospitals, pediatricians, eye doctors, medical specialists and pharmacies near the dental practices on the site. Primary care in the US runs through family doctors and internists who coordinate referrals; urgent care centers handle minor injuries and illnesses without an appointment for far less than an emergency room; hospitals with emergency departments are the place for severe facial trauma or a dental infection that spreads. Pharmacies fill the antibiotics and pain medication a dentist prescribes and sell fluoride rinses and prescription-strength toothpaste.

After every injection for 1 year I would throw up black stuff for weeks and gave me a nasty side effect to where I would loose control of my eye muscles. You would think they would promote healthy medicine not poison

I am deeply disappointed with my experience with Community Mental Health. For more than a year before I became homeless, I repeatedly expressed concerns about my housing instability and the possibility that I would lose my housing. Despite my requests for help and my increasing level of need, I did not feel that meaningful assistance or intervention was provided. Since becoming homeless, I have continued to seek support and resources. My experience has been that services have been limited, fragmented, or unavailable when I needed them most. I was referred to temporary housing, but the conditions did not meet my expectations for safety, comfort, or dignity. I have also struggled with PTSD, anxiety, and emotional distress during this period. At times, I have engaged in self-harming behaviors, and I do not feel that the severity of my situation has been adequately addressed. While I understand that providers must follow policies and clinical guidelines, my experience has been that my concerns and requests for help have not resulted in effective support. I am sharing this review because people experiencing homelessness and serious mental health challenges need timely, practical ass

Refused to send me a reminder text message the day before my therapy session like Iβve asked for several times. I am disabled and often forget things. This is not acceptable.

I feel like this place used to have really good services and staff. Now days with my experience here it's very limited. In the last year here the services went down hill. There is some good staff but for the most part very rude, unprofessional and even when you are clear on the services you need for example therapy.... you will hope to get threw a long wait list to find no help. The county needs to step up the menal health services and probably give better benefits and pay because the staff clearly don't care nor do the supervisors. Truly sad. I find myself lucky to have other help and feel bad for the ones who are stuck dealing with this cmh.

Let me preface this by saying everyone I've been able to talk to has been very kind. This place sounds like a great place to receive mental healthcare - IF you can get an appointment with anyone. That's my issue, here. I'm a new patient. I moved to Ann Arbor with a small supply of mental health meds from my previous prescriber, and I'm looking for someone in Ann Arbor to continue to prescribe them. I called WCCMH at the end of November asking to be scheduled with a prescriber, before I was totally out of meds. They said their soonest intake appointment was in three weeks, but I said that was fine, so they scheduled me. They said it would be an "hour and a half intake appointment," on December 10th. Today was that appointment. While the person who was scheduled to meet with me tried her best to be helpful, this was not at all the type of appointment I was told it would be. It ended up being only 15 minutes, where she gave me phone numbers for outside psychiatrists, since apparently the psychiatrist at WCCMH is booked out for a month. So, why did I wait those three weeks for a "1.5 hour intake appointment" if there wasn't going to be an intake? Why couldn't someone have told me up

I finally closed my case at community mental health after being a client for years. If you are new to the homeless scene then this place is not for you. You will go down the rabbit hole! Their limited resources will leave you in the streets or at one of the facilities. Baker Commons, miller manner, Aspen chase. The worst places to ever exist in. Unless, you should be so far gone to life of homelessness. you belong in one of these places then. But not if you are day one on the streets and never had been on the streets. Beware of community mental health. It has taken me years to get back to the same space of mind before I was homeless and put in a facility that community mental health put me in. As for the care received a community mental health, I was with Judy gentz at the time and stayed with her until she retired. The the medications they use are archaic. I was put on every single med t I had already been on for years that had never worked for me before. I suggest educating yourself about medication beforehand so that you can have the idea of what the best fit of medication is for you and not allow the doctor to decide it for you. you make that decision together I was never giv
